Next: Gallery Show
Is hanging artwork at a bar on sixth street considered a ‘gallery show?’ Either way, the work will be up at the Paradise Cafe and Bar at Sixth and Trinity (Austin, TX) from August 1st to September 11th. It will be great to showcase more recent work including my first ever framed 72 inch panoramic. I’m still building the frame, but once complete, the entire piece will be about 7 1/2 feet wide! There will be more new work as well and at smaller sizes. Also, over the next week, I’m going to do my best to make more art available on etsy, so keep checking in.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is official… I am not web-savvy! After being really proud of myself for posting a couple of posts on my old blog last week, I tried to get fancy and upgrade the version my blog was running. I was dreaming of how wonderful and stylish my new blog would be after the upgrade. New color scheme, simple layout, big photos, charming and witty copy. It was all there (in my head). So naturally, I thought I was only a few clicks away from my new blog-heaven. As it turns out, I was a few clicks away from completely ruining everything on my server. So… my recently revamped wedding website = gone. My old blog and photos = gone. My random photo galleries that should have been pulled down years ago = gone. The good news is that I get to start fresh. A clean slate. Friends, YES I am still doing wedding photography. (referrals please! :)) YES, I am displaying my landscape art in galleries. (in Austin starting August 1 - more details to follow) Yes, I am going to keep blogging. And, yes, I’m glad you are still with me.
